Checkmat Canada

Yesterday was a great day for a few students to test they’re skill’s in a round robin format. Keith had 5 fights yet still didn’t place. With only first and second place to achieve, its a lot of fights and a good way to know where you are at in your belt rank. Benson joined us only 3 weeks ago and had 3 fights that day but fell short of his goals.
Neville had 6 or 7 fights making it all the way to finals and took home the silver. Sam missed the chance to fight last week due to the snow storm and got his chance to shine. Sam fought 4 fights to get in the finals winning 3 by armbar and in the finals came back from being down10-0 by gi choke his opponent capturing the -180 purple division.
