Another tournament has finished. Steve Shipinkas comes off a long lay off due to injury and takes the gold. Neville Layne got silver after getting DQ’d by slamming which was a bad call but happens in the sport. Props to Nev’s opponent for not complaining and looking for an easy win and wanted to fight. Would have been awesome to watch the 2 fight for the gold to see the outcome. Steve Lam got 3 sub’s which a big step up from going the distance all the time. New student Christiann McClean showed great heart having 8 fights in one day….we now know what to focus on.
