At Greenwood Jiu Jitsu in Leaside, we’re always working to improve our academy so that students have the best possible place to train. Following our lighting upgrade, we’ve moved on to Upgrade #2: painting the dojo walls bright white.

Why We Painted the Walls

Over time, training spaces can start to look worn. A fresh coat of paint not only improves the look of the academy but also makes the space feel brighter, cleaner, and more inviting. By switching to bright white, we’re giving our dojo a fresh new energy that reflects the focus and discipline of Jiu Jitsu training.

For now, this is just the first coat of paint, because Upgrade #3 is on the way — brand new wall padding to replace the old ones. Once the padding is installed, we’ll finish the painting and complete the transformation.
