To close out the year, Greenwood Jiu Jitsu hosted a special seminar featuring World Champion Alex Liscano, and it quickly became one of the most memorable events our academy has ever held. Bringing in one of the top competitors in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was an honor — but seeing the impact he made on our students was even more meaningful.
A World-Class Competitor and an Even Better Teacher
Alex Liscano’s accomplishments speak for themselves, but what stood out most during the seminar was his ability to teach with clarity, patience, and genuine enthusiasm. Despite having over 40 students on the mats, he made time to speak with everyone individually, answer questions, and share insights from his championship-level experience.
His attention to detail, technical precision, and friendly teaching style made the session accessible for all belt levels, from beginners to advanced students.

This was one of the largest seminars we’ve ever hosted, and the energy in the room was incredible. Students left motivated, inspired, and excited to apply what they learned.
