Great First tournament… 4 competitors….4 medals….Steve Lam and Steve Shipinkas close out blue belt light feather spliting the gold and silver and not giving up one point…Isaac Layne taking silver in Rooster White belt with pure heart and fighting although he was sick and away from class all week. Sotiris Katsuras earned a silver in the Medium Heavy Weight with some tough matches that came down to the last few seconds. Along with a silver medal Sotiris lost a little over 20lbs in a couple of months from hard training and is starting to understand the Jiu Jitsu Life Style…..What you eat and drink with affect how you perform.
