When searching for a Martial Arts School

When searching for a Martial Arts School

There are so many factors people look for when in search for  a martial arts school. First all is what kind of martial arts are you interested in? (Karate , Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling , Tae kwon do). Next on your checklist will be is the location convenient for you and is the price within your budget. Those are important but the number one factor should be the teacher / coach and do your goals align with the way they teach and run their martial arts classes. Teaching experience is also a big factor as no one teaches the way they did when they first started. Martial arts teachers learn by experience and find better ways to pass on knowledge to their students from trial and error. Lets say you want your kids to learn that nothing in this world is entitled to them yet every 3-6 months your kid is on an auto pilot testing and receives a new belt. Sure the school might be cheaper and closer to you but the teacher / coach isn’t aligned with your views therefore not provided the main reason you want to join the Martial arts program.

A lot people talk about the benefits of Jiu-Jitsu. Which is amazing and have much more benefit than a lot people can imagine.
But what benefit bring to the professors?
For me it is see how we can help people change the lifestyle. How people see in Jiu-Jitsu a way of change, way of make friendships, way of get confidence, way to inspire who don’t have any wishes. For sure Jiu-Jitsu is much more than a self defense or competition.
As I always say to our students: “Any person can teach Jiu-Jitsu techniques, but only who knows the lifestyle can change peoples life, building champions in life.”

What you think you are paying for:

What you are actually paying for:

• An Inspirer

• A Supporter

• A Friend

• A Problem Solver

• A Stress Reliever

• Being encouraged to believe in yourself

• A Personal Trainer & Dietician

• Strength, Flexibility and Weight Loss

• Being taught Personal Victory

• Someone on call for you, 24/7

• Someone who encourages you and your children to have Respect, Patience, Humility, Discipline, Perseverance, Empathy, Courtesy, Listening Skill, Loyalty, and Self-Control just to name few

• Being taught how to work hard and enjoy life

• Being held accountable for your actions

• Being Encouraged to set goals AND to reach your goals.

Still think you are paying too much for your “fight” class?

Would a doctor, lawyer, plumber, carpenter, dentist, chef, mechanic, dressmaker, shop owner, or psychologist offer all of the above for free in addition to their regular service that they charge for?

Good look on your search for a Martial arts Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School.
