23 Mar Your body nutrition is good….what about you mind nutrition ?
When getting into a new fitness routine the first step is always start doing something physical and clean up the diet. The food that you consume will have an impact on your health. In the same manner, the words that enter your mind will have an impact on your health. This is why you should feed your mind healthy thoughts and watch how much negativity you allow into your mind. For example its 2022 and for the past 2 years the world has turned upside down and the content on television might not be good for your mental heath. In the long run this is going to drain the positive energy from your body. Of course you have to stay informed but somethings you simply don’t have any control over yet you allow it to affect your mood or keep you up at night. The mind is designed to protect you. When you want to try something new the first thing that pops into your head is “what if I fail” instead of what if I succeed.”
Next time you try to start a fitness goal add 30 days Positivity challenge to it. The ability to stay positive is the ultimate super power and really hard to do during covid and the wars going on in the world today. People will make it extremely hard for you to stay positive. You will get cut off in traffic or someone else is having a bad day and takes it out on you. Lets say you get cut off in traffic and you find yourself calling them every name in the book followed by pulling up beside them and yelling some more. After all said and done…what changed after you yelled at them? My guess is you yelled back and forth and afterwards they drove off thinking your a Karen and you remained upset for mins up to hours with negativity inside your mind. Of course you should honk at them to let them know they are in the wrong but wasting too much of your energy on them is just not worth it. Try the challenge out and see if you can make it the full 30 days…..and I hope your first thought was not I could never do that 🙂
